You are welcome to check-in from 3PM-10PM. The reservation team is not available after 10pm. Should you check-in after 10pm and have any issue with access, we cannot guarantee assistance. 

In most cases early check-in is not available as we are thoroughly cleaning the apartment home after check-out from the previous guests. However, you may inquire on the day of check-in to see if an earlier time is available. 

We do not offer late check-outs. Should you need a place to store your luggage, our 4th floor office can assist, M-F between 9am and 5pm (Federal holidays excluded). All luggage must be removed from the office BEFORE 5pm.

New Haven Stays is a pet-free building. We gladly welcome service animals to our establishment. However, we do not allow emotional support animals or pets on our premises.

It's important to note that service animals and emotional support animals serve different purposes and have distinct legal definitions. Service animals are specially trained to perform specific tasks or assist individuals with disabilities. They are trained to provide necessary support to their handlers, allowing them to navigate their daily lives with more independence and confidence.

On the other hand, emotional support animals provide comfort and companionship to individuals with emotional or psychological conditions. While we acknowledge the significant role that emotional support animals can play in providing emotional well-being, our policies are aligned with the guidelines set forth by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which exclusively recognizes service animals.

Access instructions will be sent approximately 3 days prior to check-in. Please check your spam mail should you not receive the instructions directly to your inbox.

Short term parking is available at the metered spaces on Orange St. or around the corners on Chapel St. or Court St. Long term and overnight parking are available around the corner at the 360 State St parking garage. If you will be staying with us for a month or more, you can obtain a month parking permit on this website:

You will find essential supplies like paper towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, detergent, etc. under the kitchen and bathroom sinks. 

Should you need additional supplies, Elm City Market is located right next door. We do not restock supplies during your stay.

We do NOT supply tissues, napkins, body lotion, makeup remover, toothbrushes or other similar supplies typically offered at a traditional hotel.

Our reservation team is available 7 days per week from 8am to 10pm to assist with any issues that may arise. In addtion, you may visit the office on the 4th floor, M-F between 9am and 5pm. 

New Haven Stays is not a hotel and does not offer 24/7 response or immediate maintenance response. We strive to provide the absolute best service to our guests, however have limited personal due to the nature of the business.
